Refund a Stripe Payment

To refund a Stripe Payment, you would first want to locate the registration you'd like to refund. You can do this either through the People Search or through your program's Filled Number.

Through People search:

Log-in to FamilyID and select the blue People tab at the top of the screen.

Type the registrant's name and then click Show Results.

Find the PERSON and then click on their name in blue.

Select the down-arrow next to the View button on the right and choose PAYMENTS.

Then select the blue Refund Online Payment button beneath the registration summary and enter the dollar amount you would like to refund.

If the entire amount paid is entered, then this full refund will update the registration as CANCELED and the payment status as REFUNDED.  If only a portion of the amount paid is entered, then this partial refund will not change the registration status but will update the payment status as PARTIAL REFUND.

A history of transactions, both payments and refunds, will display beneath the registration's summary.

Through your Program's Filled Number:

Log-in to FamilyID and select the blue Programs tab at the top of the screen.

Either hover over your program's filled number and select the section the registrant signed up for or click the full filled number to see all registrations for this program.

From the list, locate the registration you'd like to refund and select the down-arrow next to the View button on the right. Choose PAYMENTS.

Select the blue Refund Online Payment button beneath the registration summary and enter the dollar amount you would like to refund.
